Power BI [Asset Management] Developer - Inside IR35

Hybrid, 2-3 days on site
3-month contract
Brief
My client is looking for an experienced Power BI Developer, with extensive Asset Management experience, to join on a 3-month basis.
You'll act as the SME for Power BI, responsible for designing, developing and optimising Power BI solutions to support critical reporting, analytics and decision-making across the business.
Candidates for this role must be available to start Monday 5th January 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Develop high quality Power BI reports, dashboards, data models, and semantic models
Lead Power BI best practice adoption across the business
Manage Power BI governance, ensuring secure, efficient and compliant platform usage
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear, actionable reporting solutions
Essential Skills and Experience
Strong, proven experience in Power BI development within an Asset Management environment
Strong, proven experience in advanced data modelling, DAX, and data transformation
Expertise with star schemas, dimensional modelling semantic models, and dataflows
Solid understanding of data security, access controls, and distribution practices
Experience with data sources such as Snowflake, SQL, Databricks, and BW
Knowledge of Analysis Services / Azure Analysis Services; DevOps processes
Desirable Skills
