You'll join a specialist engineering team developing the next generation of variable-frequency drives used across global industrial and energy-saving applications. This is a hands-on design position working on complex power electronics circuits from concept through to testing and validation.
What you'll do:

Design, simulate, analyse and test electronic and power-electronics circuits.
*
Produce schematic designs and PCB layouts.
*
Work on AC motor-control systems and contribute to performance improvements.
*
Collaborate with firmware, mechanical and test teams on new product development.
*
Ensure designs meet EMC and compliance standards.
What you'll need:
*
Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
*
Experience in power-electronics design and circuit simulation.
*
Good understanding of AC motor control and PCB design.
*
Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
Desirable:
*
Experience with Altium Designer.
*
Simulation using MATLAB / PSIM.
*
Knowledge of PFC circuits and DSP-based motor control firmware.
*
Familiarity with EMC testing and compliance.
