Senior Power Electronics Engineer – Southampton – £70k
Company:
My client is a dynamic and innovative engineering firm based in Southampton, specializing in cutting-edge power electronics solutions. As they expand their operations, we are currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join the team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
+ Design and Development: Create and implement power electronic circuits and systems for various applications, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
+ Testing and Validation: Be responsible for preparing appropriate test bench and test 2. Simulation
+ PCB schematics capture and layout of power circuits and signal circuits
Skills Required:
+ 5+ Years commercial experience
+ Strong background in designing electrified industrial power electronics
+ Simulation of power circuits and have in-depth understanding of DC/AC and DC/DC converter circuits (30-100kW power levels)
