Job Description
We are looking for Power Press Setter for one of our rapidly expanding clients based in Handsworth.
This is a great opportunity to join a mature well established business. To learn, grow and develop within the role with a fantastic scope to upskill yourself.
A Power Press Setter Duties would include:
* Set and operate a variety of mechanical and/or hydraulic ower presses
* Carry out safe and efficient tool changes and machine setups
* Complete pre-start safety checks and follow ROSPA/HSE safety protocols
* Monitor production quality and troubleshoot issues to maintain high standards.
* Coordinating with production staff to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.
* Quality Checking
As a Power Press Setter you require the below Skills:
* Must have a relevant power press safety certificate ( i.e RoSPA / PUWER)
* Previous experience operating/setting power presses
* Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools
* A proactive, safety-first attitude
* Self-motivated and eager to learn
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Be a strong team player who can work well under pressure, use initiative, meet deadlines and prioritise your workload effectively
As a Power Press Setter you should have the following attributes:
* Strong work ethic
* Working knowledge of health and safety and good housekeeping
* A good understanding of English both written and spoken
* Power Press Setting/Operating Experience

* £12.21- £14.00 per hour depending on experience
Hours Of Work:
* 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday
* 7:30am - 11:30am Friday
