Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Power Press Setter for our client based in Redditch. Immediate starts. Possible permanent position after a successful trial period.
Duties:
Set up, adjust, and operate power presses (6–160 tonnes), including Bruderer, C-Frame, Chin Fong, Worcester, and Sweeny machines.
Work with tooling for material thicknesses from 0.2 mm to 4 mm.
Monitor product quality and complete production records.
Train and support press operators.
Follow health and safety regulations.
Keep the workspace clean and organized.
Assist with continuous improvement projects.
Requirements:
Experience in the power press industry.
ROSPA Certificate.
Skilled in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
Understanding of Lean manufacturing, including 5S and Kaizen.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Hours of Work:
Monday - Thursday
6am - 4.15pm or 7am - 5.15pm.
Rate of pay:
£13.00 per hour.
