Power Station Operator – Power Generation
€32,450 – €48,750 + 33% shift allowance & benefits
Dublin, Ireland
MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for Power Station Operators to join a major power generation business in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work across three key stations, playing a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient plant operation as Ireland transitions towards Net Zero.
As a Power Station Operator you will be responsible for:
Safe and efficient operation of all plant equipment
Supporting shift operations, monitoring, testing, and assessing plant conditions
Ensuring compliance with strict safety, environmental, chemical, and commercial standards
Maintaining accurate shift records and reporting to the Shift Team Leader / Operations Manager
Assisting in developing and implementing plant operating procedures and systems
Providing first-line maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting outage activities
To be considered for this role you should have:
2+ years’ experience in process or plant operations
Ability to analyse, process, and control plant information and conditions
Flexibility and availability to provide shift cover as required
Craft qualification in Control & Instrumentation, Electrical, or Mechanical Fitting is desirable
Full driving licence
Relevant CSCS tickets or equivalent qualifications
Knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation and standards
Familiarity with safe systems of work and contractor supervision
Experience with Maintenance/Operations Management Systems desirable
