If so, GSL Education are actively recruiting a passionate and skilled PPA Teacher to join supportive and vibrant primary schools across Doncaster. This role offers the chance to teach without the added pressure of long-term planning and marking, while still making a meaningful impact on pupils' education.
As a PPA Teacher, you’ll be stepping in to deliver pre-planned lessons across various year groups, supporting teachers during their Planning, Preparation, and Assessment time. You will be a vital part of the teaching team, ensuring pupils receive consistent and high-quality learning experiences.
PPA Teacher Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and creative lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
Maintain a high standard of teaching while covering classes during teacher absence.
Build positive relationships with students and staff to support a cohesive learning environment.
Adapt swiftly to different classroom settings and school cultures.
Support behaviour management in line with school policies.
Provide feedback to class teachers to maintain pupil progress tracking.
Participate in occasional school events or meetings when required.
Skills & Requirements for PPA Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
Recent teaching experience in UK primary schools across multiple key stages as a PPA Teacher.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
A flexible, professional, and proactive attitude.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
