Job Description
Staffline are recruiting a PPT Driver to work for their client - one of the UK's leading distributors of wine in Gloucester.
The rate of pay is £12.21 per hour
This is a full time role working Monday - Friday and the hours of work are:
Between 6am-6pm
Applicants need to have worked on a forklift or something similar in the past.
Your Time at Work
Your time at work will include
- Operating a PPT - transporting goods within the warehouse and designated areas
- Loading and Unloading of materials from trucks, pallets, racks and shelves in a safe manner
- Following safety procedures to protect themselves and others around them
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organised to ensure a smooth operation
Also included and required -
- Handballing - Regular handling of goods
- Bending and Reaching - Picking up items from pallets or shelves that can be at various heights
- Maintaining focus - Staying alert in a fast moving, sometimes quite noisy environment, making sure you are alert at all times
