Anderson Knight is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for a Finance & Reporting Analyst to join its finance team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional who is looking to take the next step in their career and build on their existing accounting and reporting experience. The role would suit someone who enjoys problem solving and understands the wider commercial picture whois keen to develop within a supportive finance environment.

The Role

As a Finance & Reporting Analyst, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, with a particular focus on financial reporting, month-end processes and analysis.

You will work closely with colleagues across the business, providing accurate financial information and helping to ensure that key financial information is understood and acted upon.

Key Responsibilities

  * Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules

  * Assist with month-end and year-end processes

  * Prepare and post journals, accruals and prepayments

  * Complete balance sheet reconciliations

  * Analyse financial performance and investigate variances

  * Assist with budgeting and forecasting

  * Produce regular financial reports for management

  * Monitor costs and highlight areas requiring further investigation

  * Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

  * Support with audit requirements and year-end preparation

  * Provide financial insight and support to colleagues across the business

  * Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required

About You

  * Previous experience in an accounting, financial reporting or similar finance role

  * Ideally studying towards, ACCA, CIMA

  * Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles

  * Strong Excel and financial reporting skills

  * Excellent attention to detail

  * Comfortable analysing financial information and explaining findings

  * Well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities

  * A proactive approach with a genuine interest in developing your career
