Background –
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse to join a friendly, supportive, and well-established GP surgery in Scarborough.
You’ll be part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team that includes GPs, ANPs, Pharmacists, and Nurses, all working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. The practice prides itself on its inclusive culture, excellent clinical support, and commitment to professional development.
This is an ideal role for a Practice Nurse who enjoys a varied clinical caseload and wants to work in a positive environment where their skills and experience are valued. The hours are flexible, with full-time or part-time options available.
Salary – £18.00 - £24.00 per hour (DOE) + NHS Pension + 6 weeks AL + Bank Holidays + Study Leave
Location – Scarborough, North Yorkshire
The Surgery –
Forward-thinking, single-site GP Practice
• Approx. 10,000+ patients – mixed demographic, strong community focus
• Supportive team including GPs, ANPs, Pharmacists, and Practice Nurses
• Good CQC rating and strong QOF performance
• Modern facilities with on-site parking
• Excellent staff retention and collaborative environment
• SystmOne clinical system
Your Role –
Practice Nurse – flexible hours (full-time or part-time considered)
• Provide a full range of nursing services, including:
– Long-term condition management (Diabetes, COPD, Asthma, Hypertension)
– Cervical cytology and women’s health
– Wound care and dressings
– Childhood and adult immunisations
– Travel health advice and vaccinations
– Health promotion and NHS health checks
• Work closely with the wider clinical team to deliver holistic, evidence-based care
• Structured induction and ongoing training provided
