Background –
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse to join a genuinely forward-thinking and well respected GP surgery in the Forest of Dean. There is flexibility around hours, from 3 days per week up to full time. The practice is very well-established and highly respected with a strong staff retention rate, set in a purpose built building with car parking available. The practice benefits from a long standing and varied MDT offering plenty of support and progression opportunities.
They are looking for a Practice Nurse, with experience in Primary Care, to join the small Practice Nurse team on a permanent basis. The practice is very supportive of career progression and development and happy to help support with prescribing, etc, if desired. This is a superb opportunity for a Practice Nurse with a very supportive, single site GP practice!
Salary – £35,100 - £42,900 per annum (£18-£22 per hour) DOE + NHS pension + 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Indemnity + Ad Hoc Study

Your role –
Have strong Primary Care experience as a Practice Nurse
Benefit from a very supportive MDT around you
Be experienced with the traditional practice nurse treatment room duties and ideally long term conditions as well
No extended hours required (option to pick this up if you want though)
Work alongside another Practice Nurse and HCAs
Very minimal home visits
3-5 days per week on a permanent basis
Flexibility around exact days
