Job Description

Job Title: Pre-Sales Consultant – ERP Solutions Location: Hybrid working model Contract Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Salary: DOE Overview: We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant to join a growing ERP solutions team. This role involves supporting the full sales cycle by delivering product demonstrations, shaping solution designs, and providing technical and functional insight across a range of ERP platforms. While experience with Sage products (such as Sage X3, Intacct, or Sage 200) is beneficial, the position is open to individuals with strong pre-sales backgrounds across other mid-market ERP systems. The successful candidate will work closely with sales, consultancy, and product specialists to understand client requirements, build tailored solutions, and clearly communicate the value and capabilities of our offerings. Experience Required: • Proven experience in a Pre-Sales Consultant or Solutions Consultant role within ERP or business software. • Strong understanding of ERP processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or Professional Services. • Experience delivering product demonstrations, client workshops, and solution documentation. • Exposure to Sage ERP products (Sage X3 / Intacct / Sage 200) or similar mid-market ERP platforms (SAP B1, NetSuite, Dynamics, Acumatica, etc.). • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. • Ability to translate complex technical and functional concepts into business value for prospective clients. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality demonstrations and presentations tailored to client requirements. • Lead discovery sessions to understand business processes, challenges, and solution needs. • Support the sales cycle by preparing proposals, solution designs, and documentation. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposed solutions are accurate, viable, and aligned with client expectations. • Respond to RFPs and tenders with well-structured technical and functional input. • Maintain strong product knowledge across ERP platforms and stay informed on industry trends. • Build positive, consultative relationships with prospects to support successful handovers into delivery.
