Premises Manager
We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Premises Manager to lead the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our clients school site. You’ll work closely with school leadership and management to ensure everything from boilers to security systems runs smoothly—creating a safe, well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Location: East London
Salary- £20 per hour
Key Duties:
* Develop and manage an annual site maintenance plan
* Monitor heating, lighting, and energy systems
* Respond to repairs and manage contractor coordination
* Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, Fire Safety, COSHH, and Legionella standards
* Oversee site security: daily lock-up, alarm response, keyholder management, and CCTV use
* Supervise cleaning staff and ensure high standards of hygiene indoors and out
* Support lettings, deliveries, porterage, and refuse management
* Maintain safe pathways and outdoor areas, including snow/ice clearance and graffiti removal
* Carry out minor decoration and routine lighting repairs
Essential: Strong organisational skills, practical maintenance experience, and a good grasp of facilities regulations
Training provided in key safety areas (e.g. Legionella)
