In this role you will take control of the day-to-day running of the school site and facilities. From overseeing the Site and Cleaning teams to managing contractors, compliance checks, and hands-on maintenance, you will enjoy a broad and interesting role where no two days are the same.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in premises or facilities management, a proactive and practical approach, and the confidence to lead a small team. Strong organisational skills, solid knowledge of health and safety, and a hands-on attitude are essential. Experience in a school or public sector setting is desirable but not required.

The Role:
* Take the lead on the day-to-day management of the school premises and facilities
* Manage and motivate the Site and Cleaning teams
* Oversee all aspects of maintenance, health & safety, compliance, and site security
* Coordinate planned and reactive works, liaising with contractors as required
* Support school events and lettings, including occasional evening/weekend work
* Undertake practical site maintenance and driving duties, including minibus checks and pupil transport
The Person:
* Experience in premises, site, or facilities management
* A confident and hands-on leader, comfortable taking ownership
* Strong working knowledge of health & safety and compliance
* Practical maintenance skills across carpentry, plumbing, and electrics
* Full UK driving licence (minibus licence desirable or willingness to obtain)
