Location: Epping, Essex
Position: Full-Time (4 or 5 days per week)

This is a rare opportunity to join a newly opened nursery in Epping as a Preschool Room Leader—a role where your leadership, creativity, and passion will help shape children’s first experiences and prepare them for their journey to school. About the Nursery
Newly opened nursery for children aged 0–5
Open year-round (closed at Christmas and on bank holidays)
Nurturing, inclusive, and child-centred environment
Convenient location near the Central Line with on-site parking
The Role
As Preschool Room Leader, you will:
Lead the preschool room and mentor your team
Create a stimulating, age-appropriate curriculum
Support school readiness and children’s wellbeing
Build strong, positive relationships with families
Ensure safeguarding and EYFS standards are met
Work full-time across 4 or 5 days per week (9-hour shifts including lunch, scheduled between 7am and 6pm)

What We’re Looking For
Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
Experience leading a room or mentoring colleagues
Strong knowledge of the EYFS and school readiness
A warm, proactive, and collaborative approach
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS if not already in place
