Preservation Surveyor | Dumfries | Permanent
Looking to take your construction experience in a new direction?
We’re recruiting for a Preservation Surveyor to join a respected contractor specialising in damp, timber, and structural repairs across residential and commercial properties.
This role is perfect if you’re already experienced in property preservation or if you’ve got a strong construction background and are ready to step away from the tools into a more technical, inspection-based role.
What you’ll do:
Carry out property inspections, diagnosing damp, timber decay and structural issues
Prepare clear reports and recommendations for remedial work
Provide technical guidance and solutions for clients and teams
What we’re looking for:
Experience in preservation or construction
Strong problem-solving skills and eye for detail
Excellent communication with a customer-first mindset
Full UK driving licence
