ROLE: CNC BRAKE PRESS SETTER / PRESS BRAKE OPERATIVE

SALARY: £16.00 to £17.00 per hour, plus benefits and incentives, uniform, allowance, canteen facilities, company events, 20 days holiday increasing to 25 days plus bank holidays after completion of a full years’ service.
HOURS: Mon-Fri permanent, full time.
As an experienced Brake Press Setter / Brake Press Operative, you will be a key player in the production team, responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brakes to produce high-quality sheet metal components. Your expertise will ensure the production targets are met efficiently and to the highest standards.
Your primary duties will be to set and operate CNC Press Brakes, ensuring the correct quantity of stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel parts are produced efficiently, to a high standard & within estimated time frames, whilst assisting the Production team in developing ideas to reduce waste and increase efficiency through continual improvement.
As a skilled CNC Brake Press Operative, you will be able to read and understand blueprints/ engineering drawings, ensure health and safety guidelines and ‘standard operating procedures are followed.
You will be a highly motivated and experienced CNC Brake Press Setter/ CNC Press Brake Operative, with a great work ethic, ensuring production targets are achieved and that the press brakes are operating efficiently through effective communication, motivation & discipline.
