Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator to join a busy engineering team in Nottingham. This role is ideal for someone with strong press brake experience, confident working independently on a variety of metals including stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium.
Working hour: Monday to Friday 10pm – 6am
To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:
Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter / Operator
Confident working with different metals (stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium)
Ability to read and work from detailed engineering drawings
Skilled in using measuring equipment to check accuracy
Flexible and reliable, able to work permanent night shifts
Within this position, you’ll also be:
Set and operate press brake machines safely and efficiently
Load programs and set tooling with minimal supervision
Produce quality-checked parts in line with technical drawings
Inspect own work using handheld measuring tools
Prepare completed parts for the next stage of production
Ensure correct quantities are completed accurately
Complete all associated production paperwork
