Press Setter / Operator
Alcester, Warwickshire (B49)
Day shift: Mon-Thurs 07:30-16:30, Fri 07:30-12:30
£14.12 - £15.39 per hour

Opportunity for an experienced Press Setter / Operator to join an Alcester based Manufacturing business on a permanent basis.
The role:
Set up and operate presses in line with procedures and job card instructions
Adjust and control press parameters (tool shut height, stroke, tonnage, dwell, lubrication)
Use air tools, hand tools and measuring equipment safely
Carry out in-process inspections to ensure components meet quality standards
Maintain accurate WIP records in the MRP system
Support root cause analysis, continuous improvement and 5S activities
What we're looking for:
1-2 years' experience in aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or machine setting/operating
Familiar with a range of presses and quality/manufacturing standards
Self-motivated, disciplined and detail focused
A positive, "can do" attitude with strong teamwork skill
Willing to learn and take ownership of responsibilities.
