Primary Teacher – ASD Unit – Lambeth – Primary School – ASAP or January Start – MPS/UPS – Full-Time
* Primary Teacher required in a specialist ASD provision within a mainstream primary school in Lambeth
* Primary Teacher required to start ASAP or January
* Primary Teacher required to have experience supporting children with autism, including non-verbal and partially verbal pupils
* Experience with Attention Autism, TEACCH and SCERTS is highly desirable

The Role – Primary Teacher (ASD Unit)
As a Primary Teacher within this ASD Unit, you will be teaching a small class of just 8 pupils, each with varying communication needs, some non-verbal and others partially verbal. The provision follows Attention Autism, TEACCH, and SCERTS approaches, forming the foundation of its enhanced teaching model. You will plan and deliver highly structured lessons, use visual supports, and implement sensory and communication strategies to help every pupil reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusive education, with experience working with children with complex communication needs.
