The Role:
As a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work across KS1 and KS2 to provide support where it’s needed most. You will assist with classroom activities, deliver small group interventions, and offer one-to-one support to pupils who require additional help. Your work will contribute to improving confidence, supporting learning progress, and preparing students for the next stages of their education.
The Candidate:
You should hold a degree in any subject and be keen to gain experience in primary education. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a positive approach to working with children are essential. Any experience working with young people will enhance your application.
Requirements
Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
Desire to work in education/with children – A genuine interest in supporting young learners and developing a teaching career.
Experience working with children – Any relevant experience such as tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering is desirable but not essential.
