The Role:
You’ll work across KS2 to run short, purposeful intervention sessions in reading, writing and maths. You’ll provide 1:1 support, guide small groups, prep simple resources, and note impact so next steps are clear. You’ll reinforce routines, encourage positive behaviour, and help pupils build confidence ahead of assessments.
The Candidate:
You’re a graduate who communicates clearly, stays organised, and engages pupils with concise explanations and well-structured tasks. You follow guidance, use initiative, and keep sessions focused on progress.
Requirements
• Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Strong interest in primary education and pupil progress.
• Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
