Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Worksop
Academics, acting as an agency, are recruiting an enthusiastic and skilled Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for flexible, temporary ongoing positions across welcoming and supportive primary schools in Worksop.

About the Role
As a Primary HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across all key stages. You may lead whole-class lessons, deliver targeted interventions, and provide assistance in planning and assessing learning outcomes.
This role is perfect for someone with classroom experience who holds a degree or Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification, and who is confident leading lessons in the absence of a teacher.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and support engaging learning sessions across the primary curriculum.
Lead classes and small groups under the direction of the teacher.
Support children with different learning styles and abilities.
Provide regular feedback to teachers and parents regarding progress.
Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Encourage pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
Candidate Requirements
✔ Degree or Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
✔ Experience working within a primary school setting.
✔ Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
✔ Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
