Job Description
An amazing primary school in Peterborough is looking for a fun, energetic and passionate Primary PE Teacher to join their vibrant team! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves inspiring young minds and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle in KS1 and KS2 pupils.
About the Role:
As a Primary PE Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS1 and KS2
* Encourage physical development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
* Support pupils of all abilities in reaching their physical potential
* Promote health and wellbeing through creative and inclusive activities
* Work closely with the wider teaching team to support school events, sports days, and extracurricular clubs
Requirements:
* Previous experience teaching or leading PE lessons (primary preferred)
* A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a love for physical education
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* QTS desirable but not essential – we welcome applications from experienced sports coaches or unqualified teachers with relevant experience
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
