Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Manchester Primary School (September Start)
The Role:
As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning across various subjects. Your focus will be on providing tailored support to individual students and small groups, helping them reach their full potential. You’ll assist in planning and delivering lessons, contribute to creating an engaging classroom atmosphere, and play a vital role in ensuring every student progresses.

The school is seeking a skilled and passionate HLTA to join their team from September and help continue their great work with pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons and ensuring student progress
Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, both in-class and out-of-class
Assist with classroom management to maintain a positive, inclusive learning space
Support students’ pastoral and emotional wellbeing
Help prepare resources and monitor student work
Deliver specific interventions for children with additional needs
Maintain clear communication with parents, teachers, and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
