About the Role We are seeking a dedicated, adaptable, and enthusiastic Primary School Supply Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality teaching across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2. The role involves delivering planned lessons, supporting pupils’ learning, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment in the absence of the class teacher.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective lessons following the school’s plans and curriculum.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
Adapt to different year groups, subjects, and school settings when required.
Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils at all times.
Provide feedback on pupil progress to class teachers or senior leaders as needed.
Maintain a calm, supportive atmosphere that promotes learning and pupil well-being.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Complete any required marking or short-term planning in line with school expectations.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Recent experience teaching in a primary school setting (EYFS/KS1/KS2).
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to work flexibly and confidently across different year groups.
A secure understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one).
Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
