Year 4 Class Teacher - Lewisham
 Full Time | January Start | Catholic Primary School | 1-Form Entry

A welcoming Catholic 1-form-entry primary school in Lewisham is seeking a dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join the team from January. This is a full-time post requiring a committed practitioner who is confident taking full class teaching responsibility within a supportive, well-structured environment.

Role Overview
 You will take full responsibility for the Year 4 class, delivering high-quality teaching, planning, assessment, and classroom management in line with the school's curriculum and values.

Key Responsibilities
 * Full class teaching responsibility for Year 4
 * Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with school and national expectations
 * Create a positive, structured learning environment that promotes pupil progress
 * Contribute to the wider life of the school, including Catholic ethos and whole-school events
 * Work closely with the SLT and wider staff team to ensure consistency and strong pupil outcomes
 * Uphold all safeguarding and child protection procedures consistently

Requirements
 * QTS and strong experience teaching in KS2
 * Confidence managing full class responsibilities in a mainstream primary setting
 * Understanding of Catholic school values (you do not need to be Catholic but must be supportive of the ethos)
 * Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
 * Up-to-date safeguarding training and a current enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
