KS1 Teacher
Location: South Normanton (DE55)
Start Date: After Easter
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Salary: £150–£200 per day

Class Mate is working with a friendly and supportive primary school in South Normanton (DE55) seeking a committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team after the Easter break.

The Role

• Deliver engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum
• Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with national curriculum expectations
• Create a positive and structured classroom environment
• Support pupils’ early development in phonics, literacy and numeracy
• Work closely with colleagues and support staff to ensure strong pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Passionate about supporting early learning and development
• Committed to creating engaging and inclusive lessons

Requirements

• QTS and relevant teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to provide two professional references
