Job Title: Primary School Teacher September Start (Ideal for ECTs)
Location: Oldham & Tameside
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time (8:30am 3:30pm)
Pay: Paid to scale from GBP160+ per day
The Opportunity:
Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for exciting long-term roles in welcoming and supportive primary schools across Oldham and Tameside. This is the perfect chance for recent teaching graduates to gain real in-school experience and build their career from September.
These schools are committed to nurturing new teaching talent and provide an ideal environment for ECTs to develop their skills, with ongoing support and professional development.
Your Role Will Include:
Delivering high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum
Supporting childrens learning and progress
Creating a positive, inclusive classroom culture
Collaborating with colleagues and engaging with parents and carers
What Were Looking For:
UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) suitable for ECTs
Placement experience in a UK primary school
Enthusiasm, reliability, and strong classroom presence
Willingness to engage in professional development
Requirements to Work with Prospero Teaching:
Right to Work in the UK
Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Two professional references (including one from a school placement)
