Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a friendly and supportive school community in the Trowbridge area. Whether you’re early in your teaching career or bring years of experience, we welcome passionate educators who are committed to making a difference.
We are looking for a nurturing, enthusiastic individual with experience supporting primary-aged children—ideally across both KS1 and KS2—who has a solid understanding of the curriculum and age-appropriate learning strategies. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, a strong team player, and able to communicate effectively with both children and adults. Relevant training in safeguarding and first aid is desirable, though support will be provided if needed.
Key responsibilities include supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2 in class, small groups, and individually; assisting with classroom resource preparation and daily organisation; promoting children’s personal, social, and emotional development; contributing to tailored learning and behaviour strategies; collaborating with teachers, SEND staff, and parents to ensure positive outcomes; and supporting wider school activities such as playground supervision and enrichment programs.
