Job Description
Primary School Teaching Assistant
Could you support children to get the best out of their classroom experience? We work with primary schools across the region and aim to place teaching assistants that can bring care, kindness and assistance to the schools that we work with.
Do you have experience of supporting pupils in the classroom? Have you supported children in groups or 1-1? Do you have experience with supporting pupils with SEN? If so, then we have a range of schools that could be looking for someone like you.
The Job…
You'll be kept busy, working with pupils across a range of Key Stages within the classroom to support their learning and development. You would have the opportunity to work across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Your days will be varied, supporting children to engage with tasks set by the class teacher, and supporting the teaching staff to get the most out of lessons and tasks.
You'll take initiative, be resilient, and drive pupils to achieve and progress. You'll work on learning activities, promote confidence, and encourage pupils to act independently to succeed.
