GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive and inclusive school in Sheffield starting this September. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children grow in confidence, skills, and independence.
Role Overview:
As a Primary TA, you’ll support teachers in the classroom, help pupils with their learning, and promote a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:
Support pupils with their learning across the curriculum.
Provide 1:1 and small group support where needed.
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management.
Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom.
Help monitor pupil progress and wellbeing.
Requirements for Primary TA:
Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
A friendly, patient, and proactive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A CV covering the last 10 years (with any gaps explained).
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
