Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester
Pay: £100 - £115 per day
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: September
Milk Education is seeking a caring and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in a welcoming primary school based in Salford.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and looking to make a long-term difference in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional needs.
Adapt resources and activities in collaboration with the class teacher to meet the unique needs of individual pupils.
Support the development of pupils’ confidence, communication, and social skills.
Help implement and monitor Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and behaviour strategies.
Work closely with the SENCO, teaching staff, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
What We’re Looking For:
A compassionate and patient individual who genuinely enjoys supporting young learners.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting (preferred but not essential).
A proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to respond to a range of needs in the classroom.
