Empowering Learning is currently seeking qualified and passionate Teachers to join a wonderful SEND school in Kensington. We welcome applicants from both Primary and Secondary backgrounds who are open to cross-teaching at a primary level.
The Role: Primary SEN Teacher
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging, inclusive, and differentiated lessons to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that promotes emotional and academic development.
Work collaboratively with therapists, families, and support staff to tailor learning through EHCPs and individualised education plans.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of needs including Autism and significant learning difficulties.
You'll never be the only adult in the room, with a stable, skilled team of therapists, support staff, and leaders who genuinely listen, you'll be part of a system that shares responsibility.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
Experience teaching in primary or secondary settings
Knowledge or experience of supporting pupils with SEND
Ability to inspire and engage children with a range of learning needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with families and colleagues
Empathy, resilience, and a genuine passion for inclusive education
