Job Description
We are working with a specialist SEN primary school in South East London (SE23) seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join their team from September.
This is a class teacher role with full teaching, planning and pastoral responsibility for a small group of KS2 pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism and communication difficulties.
Key Details:
Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Class size of around 9 pupils
Supported by 2 experienced TAs
PPA time provided
Children have a range of SEN, primarily autism
Full lesson planning responsibility
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - no ECTs considered
Minimum 1 year UK primary teaching experience
SEN experience preferred - but a genuine interest in working with SEN is essential
Must have native-level English fluency (strong verbal communication is vital due to pupils' communication needs)
Cannot consider candidates from a secondary teaching background
