Aspire People are recruiting a **SEND Support Assistant** for a primary school supporting **KS2 pupils** with SEMH or learning needs. This role allows you to help children access the curriculum, develop emotional resilience, and achieve their academic potential.
**Your Responsibilities Will Include:**
* Supporting individual pupils and small groups in class
* Implementing behaviour management and intervention strategies
* Assisting with literacy and numeracy tasks tailored to pupils' needs
* Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teachers
* Supporting transitions, break times, and social development activities
* Working closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals
**We Are Looking For Someone Who:**
* Has recent experience supporting SEND/SEMH pupils in primary schools
* Can manage challenging behaviour with patience and consistency
* Works collaboratively as part of a teaching team
* Understands child development and inclusive practices
* Communicates effectively with staff, pupils, and families
