Role: ECT or Qualified KS2 Teacher
Setting: Specialist SEND Primary School, Brent
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, permanent or long-term
Salary: Main Pay Scale (MPS)

This specialist SEND primary school in Brent provides a calm, structured learning environment for pupils with autism. The school offers:
Small class sizes (around 8 pupils) supported by 2-3 teaching assistants
A curriculum based on the National Curriculum with tailored pathways

The Role
You will lead a Lower KS2 class of approximately 8 pupils, supported by experienced teaching assistants. Lessons are designed to meet individual EHCP targets, delivered in a creative, nurturing, and structured way.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and teaching engaging lessons adapted to pupil needs
Managing a small, well-supported class environment
Collaborating with TAs, therapists, and the wider SEND team
Contributing to staff briefings, transition planning, and whole-school development
Ideal Candidate
ECT or qualified KS2 Teacher
Interest in or experience of SEND education (particularly autism/ASC)
Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
Creative, flexible, and willing to adapt teaching to meet pupil needs
