Leeds (LS17)
£190 - £232 per day
Jan 2026 – July 2026 (possibility of extension beyond this)
An inviting and friendly rural Leeds primary school (LS17) are seeking a SENDCo to join their 1-form entry sized school for the remainder of the academic year to cover MAT leave. This will be a part time role consisting of 1 day a week as SENDCo. There will also be other supply teaching opportunities within the school too, if you so wish to take them.
From the moment you enter the school Reception you are greeted with both professionalism and a friendly welcome! Staff really make the school and strive to ensure that everyone feels welcomed and supported at all times.
Led by an inspiring Headteacher with an open-door policy and desire to be present and 'seen' within school, staff here are fully supported and are given the autonomy to run their classrooms in the best way possible. Children are kind and respectful with very supportive parents too.
The successful SENDCO will be required carry out duties, not limited to
Lead Annual Reviews
model good teaching practice and inclusive learning techniques
Be able to advise next steps
Support and train support staff
Apply for ECHP's
Liaaise with parents and external agencies
be class based 1 day of the week
Requirements
The desired SENDCo will have;
- A resilient and dedicated work ethic
- Hold a NASENCO qualification, or have a deep understanding of the role
- QTS
