Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for flexible supply teaching work in Islington? We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Supply Primary Teachers to work across a range of inclusive and welcoming primary schools in the London Borough of Islington.
Starting from 1st September 2025, this is an excellent opportunity for teachers seeking short-term supply, day-to-day cover, or pre-booked teaching roles across Nursery, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
Position Overview
Start date: 1st September 2025
Location: Primary schools across Islington
Contract type: Daily / short-term supply cover
Pay rate: £150 - £160 per day (PAYE)
Working days: Flexible - you decide your availability
Responsibilities as a Supply Primary Teacher
Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
Follow school policies and planning where required, or deliver pre-prepared lessons
Manage behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment
Provide continuity and support for pupils in the absence of their regular teacher
Adapt confidently to different school settings and year groups
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent teaching experience in UK primary schools
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Confident, adaptable, and reliable across different school settings
Professional, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching
