Primary Teacher
Prospero Teaching are delighted to be supporting a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Alton, Hampshire, in recruiting a dedicated and inspiring Primary Teacher to join their team for two terms (January-July 2026).
This friendly and supportive school is committed to providing high-quality education where every child feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will join a collaborative staff team who work hard to create an engaging, inclusive learning environment built on mutual respect and high expectations.
About the Role:
The school is seeking a passionate teacher to take responsibility for a well-behaved, enthusiastic class within either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. You will plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, ensuring progress across the curriculum. You'll be supported by experienced teaching assistants and a leadership team who value professional development and staff wellbeing.

Contract Details:
Location: (near) Alton, Hampshire
Position: Primary Teacher
Start Date: January 2026
End Date: July 2026
Contract Type: Fixed-term / Long-term supply
Working Hours: 8am 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS depending on experience)
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in a primary setting
Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (or willing to complete)
Enhanced Child DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
Two professional, child-related references
