Job Description
PRIMARY TEACHER REQUIRED -YEAR 2 **
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Primary Teacher looking for your next exciting opportunity?
Academics are working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Newcastle-under-Lyme who are seeking an experienced and motivated primary teacher to cover a Year 2 class from January until Easter.
The Role:
Teaching a lovely Year 2 class with a focus on inspiring progress and enjoyment in learning.
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress to ensure every child achieves their potential.
Creating a nurturing classroom environment that promotes confidence and curiosity.
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has UK experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2.
Demonstrates strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
Is passionate about delivering high-quality education and supporting pupil wellbeing.
Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
