About the Role
A welcoming one-form entry primary school in Lambeth is looking for a confident and resilient Primary Teacher to join their team from Monday 5th January 2026. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work within a close-knit school community that includes a well-established SEMH specialist provision.
The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a lively and diverse class, where some pupils display challenging behaviour. You'll be supported by an experienced Teaching Assistant, a strong SEN team, and a leadership group that prioritises staff well-being and professional support.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment.
Manage behaviour effectively, using consistent and restorative approaches.
Work closely with the school's SEMH provision and SENCO to support individual needs.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
Experience teaching in primary, ideally with exposure to SEMH or behaviour support.
Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills.
Calm, patient, and adaptable approach.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
