We seek a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher who will actively contribute to the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of our pupils, upholding the school’s mission and ethos. The Primary Teacher will be responsible for the planning, teaching, and assessment of a class of pupils across the full primary curriculum, ensuring high levels of progress, attainment, and well-being for all children. The role requires commitment to maintaining a stimulating, safe, and positive learning environment that reflects the school's Catholic identity. Key Responsibilities and Duties 1. Professional Development and Safeguarding  * Take responsibility for promoting and ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all children, adhering strictly to school and national child protection policies.  * Effectively manage pupil behaviour in line with the school’s policy, promoting self-control and independence.  * Actively participate in the school's performance management, continuing professional development (CPD), and school improvement activities.  * Liaise with colleagues, support staff (e.g., Teaching Assistants), and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Essential Criteria  * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).  * Proven experience of teaching within a UK Primary School setting.  * Excellent knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and effective teaching and assessment strategies.  * Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and high-achieving pupils.  * A clear understanding of and a commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos of the school.  * A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge young learners.  * Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
