KS1 Teacher (Part-Time) in a lovely 3 form-entry Primary School
Location: Finchley, N12
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Part-time, 3 days per week (Tuesday–Thursday)
Pay: MPS1–M6 (£37,870–£50,474 FTE)
School: 3-form entry, Ofsted-rated Good
A welcoming and well-established 3-form entry primary school in Finchley (N12) is seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS1 Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This part-time role involves two days teaching in Year 2 and one day teaching in Year 1. Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status is essential
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* At least one year of teaching experience in KS1
* Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
* Confident in delivering high-quality teaching across Year 1 and Year 2
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
* Teach across Year 1 and Year 2, ensuring continuity and progress
* Work collaboratively with year-group teams within a supportive 3-form entry structure
* Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment
* Support pupil progress through effective assessment and feedback
* Uphold safeguarding and promote the welfare of all children
