Contract: 5 days per week, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM- for the right candidate a class share role would be considered
Pay: Paid to scale (£168 – £233 per day)
About the Role:
An average sized Primary school in Chichester is seeking an experienced Year 4 teacher starting January 2026 ( or February). This is a role with full class teacher responsibilities, initially until the end of the academic year but could be extended.
You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing a Year 4 class, working closely with a year group partner and a full time LSA. The role includes full teaching responsibilities and offers the opportunity to contribute to wider school life.

Qualified Primary Teacher
Confident in managing classroom routines and expectations.
Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Skilled in adapting teaching to meet a range of pupil needs, including SEND
Supportive of daily collective worship
Requirements
UK-recognised teaching qualification.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
Compliance with DfE and Safer Recruitment standards.
