Year 1 Teacher 
 Location: Primary School in the Heart of Wakefield

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Year 1 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in the heart of Wakefield. The primary school is part of a dynamic and supportive trust, the school is committed to delivering an exceptional education and creating an inspiring learning environment for our students.

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the learning experience of our young learners.

Proven experience working in Key Stage 1, with a strong understanding of Year 1 curriculum and development.
A solid background in teaching phonics, with experience in delivering high-quality phonics instruction that helps children develop strong foundational reading skills.
A passion for creating engaging, inclusive, and effective lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, including teaching assistants and senior leadership, to ensure every child reaches their full potential.Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Implement effective phonics teaching strategies, helping children to develop reading and writing skills.
Monitor and track the progress of students, providing timely feedback and interventions when necessary.
Foster a nurturing and positive classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported.
Work closely with colleagues within the school and across the trust to share best practices and improve teaching and learning.What We Offer:
