Primary Teacher (PPA Cover - 3 Days per Week)
 Location: Doncaster
 Start Date: April 2026 (after Easter)
 Contract: Part-time - Monday to Wednesday

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Doncaster from April 2026, following the Easter break. This is a part-time PPA cover position working three days per week (Monday to Wednesday), providing high-quality teaching across different classes while enabling class teachers to access their planning, preparation and assessment time.

This role would suit a flexible and confident primary teacher who enjoys working across different year groups and can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff. The school is a supportive environment committed to creating engaging learning experiences and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

The Role:

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across a range of primary year groups as part of PPA cover

Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment

Follow lesson plans provided by class teachers while adapting delivery to meet pupils' needs

Support pupils' academic progress and encourage positive learning behaviours

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and staff to ensure continuity in learning

Provide feedback to class teachers on pupil engagement and progress

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Have experience teaching within a primary school setting

Be adaptable, organised and confident teaching across different year groups

Demonstrate strong classroom management and positive behaviour strategies

Be committed to supporting pupils' learning, development and wellbeing
