Year 6 Class Teacher – Full-Time Stretford Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm Start Date: September Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Stretford that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Class Teacher to join their team full-time from September. As the Year 6 Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in guiding pupils through their final year of primary school and preparing them for the transition to secondary education. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Year 6 pupils Track, assess, and record pupil progress, offering constructive and timely feedback Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practice Engage fully in professional development opportunities Support pupils in preparing for end-of-year assessments and the move to secondary school The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6 Demonstrate strong behaviour and classroom management skills Confidently differentiate lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs Have excellent understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirements Be confident using technology to enrich teaching and learning Be organised, communicative, and an effective team player Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
