We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 3/4 Teacher to join a warm and supportive primary school in Blackburn. This full-time position is due to start as soon as possible and will continue until the end of the academic year. Key responsibilities
* Teach and inspire a mixed Year 3/4 class with engaging, well-structured lessons
* Plan, deliver, and assess learning in line with the Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum
* Create a supportive, stimulating, and well-managed classroom environment
* Promote pupils’ academic progress, confidence, and personal development
* Work collaboratively with staff to maintain consistent routines and uphold the school’s ethos
Pre-requisites
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience of teaching within KS2, ideally with mixed-age classes
* Strong knowledge of the Year 3/4 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
* Two education or school-based references
* Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
* A positive, committed approach to supporting pupils of all abilities
