Job Description

We are working with a primary school in Eltham, Greenwich, who's looking for a Class Teacher to join their friendly teaching team from September 2026.

The position is a maternity cover contract for 1 year.

The year group is flexible depending on the teachers/candidates preferences, as the head teacher will be moving a few teachers into different classes, next academic year.

  * Located in Eltham, Greenwich (inner London pay)

  * Full-time role working five days per week

  * Long-term contract for the whole academic year

  * Pay scale: Main pay scale (inner London pay)

Requirements:

  * Real passion for teaching in primary schools

  * Must be a qualified teacher or early career teacher (ECT)

  * Must have excellent communication skills (both orally & written)
